Perfect cruise around Iceland with Azamara Onward. Everything was perfect. The ship was a perfect size to negotiate the fjords and tricky harbours safely. The itinerary around Iceland featured key and high value ports. Highly recommend.
Great group of travellers and a great guide with Mangun! Good local knowledge and always very organised đ Optional Tours were all exceptional and our bus drivers were all friendly and experienced.
This was our first time with Emerald Azzuarra having previously travelled on the Scenic Eclipse. We loved the relaxed and non crowded feel of Azzurra. Being a smaller ship it was able to go to ports the bigger cruise lines cannot reach which was fabulous. We realized how great this was when we visited places like Debrovnick and Split that had 3-4 ...read more other big cruise lines in port and the places were PACKED! This itinerary was fabulous. We travelled mostly overnight and woke up each morning to a postcard view of a new town. The Croatian coastline and towns were stunning. Montenegro was just as beautiful, and whilst Albania was interesting , one day was perfect. Coming through the Corinth Cananl with only centimetres to spare on either side was a highlight.
The Emerald Azzurra crew were also amazing. Friendly, personable and attentive. Nothing was a problem for them. There are a few things Emerald need to work on such as food choices and consistency of quality though. We were told they are bringing people from Scenic Eclipse to elevate the experience. Emerald Azzurra is not in the class of Scenic Eclipse yet but has all the elements to be just as impressive with a bit more work. Overall we loved the trip and would travel with Emerald again.

Seven nights of relaxed cruising. Great weather. Only 25 passengers. Good tour director and boat crew. Fabulous small towns to visit each day.
Our Long Awaited Alaska Trip Did Not Disappoint

Globus truly gave us The Spectacular Alaska Experience. Our tour director, Todd and driver, were friendly and accommodating. Both were knowledgeable providing information and history on the areas as we traveled in the motor coach. Not that you realised as it was still light through to 11pm at least! The arranged excursions were all great and gave us the experiences we were after.
Our viewing of wildlife was not as frequent as we had hoped. It is just luck being in the right place at the right time. We did see Moose, Caribou, sealions and sea otters. (Take your binoculars). Our highlight was on the last day on a cruise into the Kenai Fjord where we witnessed a group of humpback whales bubble feeding on a shoal of fish. Truly amazing. If considering this tour, or any trip to Alaska, their sunny days are rare with most days cloudy and/or wet. This can mean the mountains are not visible at times and you need more warmer clothes than true summer ones.

Everything about this tour was excellent. Coach was very comfortable, only 1 hotel in Rome was very tiny the rest were good. Tour guide very knowledgeable and caring. It was an enjoyable, interesting and a hectic tour. We enjoyed very minute of it and look forward to joining Globus again soon. Julian our tour director was an wonderful guy from Madrid, he was very helpful along with all the other local guides. Mohammad, local guide in Morocco gave us a lot of inside information on the culture, history, how the ...read more country operates etc. but he was a kickback king, wherever he took us, he made sure he was rewarded.
We enjoyed all the places we visited, specially Rick's cafe in Casablanca. Fez and Tangier was my favorite cities. The venue and the evening show was enjoyable, although I was looking forward to Moroccan cuisines but in general they were very bland. The seafood meals that we had in Lisbon and Costa de Sol were excellent. The optional dinners and shows we saw just average compared to the cost, except in Fez. You need a lot of patience to put up with Moroccan Music. We made up for it by some lovely music in Portugal and Spain, especially when our Tour Director sang and danced along with us. The Farewell dinner in Madrid was memorable, but the dinner was average.

You have done a wonderful job sorting my cruise out. The cruise wasnât as good as other companies. We got mocktail, coffee drinks cards. Excited and got to the bar to order a mocktail they only gave a choice of two mocktails kiwi fruit or lychee flavoured - great introduction gosh, real downer, bar staff gave the feeling that weâre cheap. The duty free ...read more only stocked blue cartons of smokes $81 for 8 packets of 25s. If you wanted Red you could purchase from the cafe a packet for around $50 not completely sure. Pretty bad, hard choice, got a carton of smokes. Bottles range from about $40 Australian thankfully Port Vila had good prices. I won 2 tickets for massages they were looking at me side ways when I booked in for them. My daughter went in before me and came out after me. Gosh theyâre money hungry đ. The food would be considered wonderful for some but compared to other ships doesnât compare. I did enjoy the cruise. My rating is for you Tracey 10/10 thanks!

The Azamara Pursuit has excellent ...read more accommodation. Our stateroom was perfect, and the attendant was very attentive. Was it a good time of year to travel? Not particularly so in the towns we stopped at. The heat was sometimes overwhelming. What were your fellow travellers like - were they a good mix and did you get along? A very diverse mix; but we soon found people who we often ate with or went on to the day trips with.
Pre Ghan stay in Adelaide at Mayfair Hotel situated metres from famous Rundle Mall was great way to commence our trip. Barossa Valley winery tour/lunch a real highlight. Picked up from hotel taken to the Ghan, welcome champagne and canapĂŠs. Welcoming staff showed us to our Gold cabin settled in, then to bar/lounge area.
